About Maranatha Family Center
Maranatha Family Center was founded in 1977 by Allen and Glenda Usher, with a vision of making a difference in the lives of people. From a humble “brush arbor’ to a 16 acre campus, which is the home of the church, Jesus Is Lord Christian School, and the Compassion Center, the Lord has truly blessed this ministry. Maranatha Family Center has been a “pioneer” ministry, being the first to use contemporary Christian music with a live band during worship, the first gymnatorium, the first food and clothes distribution church, the first Christian school, and the first multi-racial congregation. If you are looking for a ministry that believes in the full gospel, which includes salvation through the blood of Jesus, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the soon coming of the Lord Jesus, we invite you to visit with us.
